This holiday has been one that made me realise some things... Firstly, I realise that the formal letter writing in school is quite important actually. Because when applying for work, we need to hand in a resume via email which is something like a formal letter. Although I'm working as a waiter now, but I've just applied to sell Dell computer's at SITEX at the end of the month, wonder if they want to employ me. Just 3 days only... PRAY HARD!:D
Secondly, I realise living cost has risen a lot. Where can you find your $2 food anywhere now? Probably yes, but not often. The average cost of a meal at a hawker or coffeeshop is $2.50 or maybe $3.00. And I've read from other people on AF forum that their kid's school bus fee is rising. I remember that time when i take school bus, my bus fee was $40-$50/month. Now, it has become $75 or even $120 for some people. So what will it be in future? Maybe Spore is going to be like japan... But, we must consider the fact that although Japan is so expensive, some people there are drawing quite high salary. That balances up their economic expenses.
I am wondering what would it be in the next 10 years or maybe 20 years. I'll be seeing much more changes... But would our lives be better or worse? It's something to think about in the long term.
